Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred Program - From Start to Finish

Okay, as most of you know, I've been battling a few pounds lately. Yeah, I know, I have kids, it's expected, but I'm also losing the weight battle to my prescription meds which are making it even harder. I did The Daily Plate for two months before my vow renewal last year and lost ten pounds, but I wasn't doing any major exercise routine or anything, just diet, mainly. It got easier as I went on, and after the vow renewal I went back to not counting calories (it gets old after a while people!). Then I've recently gotten into running. Did my first 10K in May, and am signed up to do another the end of September. Funny thing is, with all this running, I haven't budged a pound. Then again, I am not combining it with The Daily Plate, either, just watching what I eat...in my head. LOL In addition to this, having to make a filling meal for the family every night keeps me from eating just a salad or heating up a Healthy Choice meal.

This month, Christopher is with his mom, so I've got 30 days where I don't have to make a family meal every night--April eats on her own clock and my husband is very capable of making mac and cheese and frozen pizzas. LOL Soooooooo, here's the plan: 20 pounds in 30 days. That's how much weight I want to lose. And it looks like the Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred DVD is the way to go. This, in conjunction with The Daily Plate and my 10K training should produce outstanding results in thirty days. That's the plan, anyway.

So, here we are, Day 1. I'll keep you posted on my results as I go. :)
